Environmental activities for a cleaner planet

SGC Forests

SGC Forests have been created at elementary schools to ensure that
children, leaders of our future generation, grow up healthy in a cleaner
environment while recognizing the importance of earth.

Environmental impact of SGC Forests

By creating three SGC Forests, the SGC Group has contributed in
annually reducing 5 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, absorbing
11 kilograms of fine dust and producing 57 tons of oxygen.
This is equivalent to the amount of carbon dioxide emitted from
a car traveling 308,700 kilometers, and is the same effect as operating
an air purifier for 12.96 million hours to absorb fine dust. It is
also equivalent to the amount of oxygen consumed by nearly 5,300 people.

Zero Waste Day

Eco-friendly practices are implemented in our daily work lives
at SGC E&C, such as eliminating paper cups and designating
leftover-free days.

Community initiatives contributing to local society

THE LIV housebuilding project

In THE LIV housebuilding project, hopeful messages for children with
childhood cancer are attached to a 3D house to complete the
“House of Love,” with KRW 100,000 won per message donated to a fund.

Scholarships for local community

A corporate scholarship program supports the operation of Songdo
educational foundation and the development of Songdo Middle
School and Songdo High School.
